Getting glittery with Stila Cosmetics

I've tried a few products  from Stila Cosmetics over the years but their latest releases really have everyone talking.

You may have seen their Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Eyeshadows (£23) floating about the internet and they've been well received. It's easy to see why when you're getting the most immense glittery pigment on one swipe. These liquid eyeshadows are incredible - honestly, I've not used anything like them. They're beautiful, blend perfectly and most importantly there's zero fall out and the pigment lasts all day and night. I have four of the ten shades in the line and I am besotted with each and every one. I originally picked up Smoky Storm, a warm dark brown and Diamond Dust which is a silver with varying shades of reflects throughout. These are absolutely stunning shades - Diamond Dust is definitely the more Christmas appropriate shade but adds a completely unique twist to any eye look.

After becoming rather besotted with the smooth application and high quality of these eyeshadows, I added Kitten Karma, a peach toned shimmer and Bronzed Bell*  which is a warm toned brown. I honestly, couldn't love these more as they're definitely '100% my type on paper'! My swatches can't really justify how incredibly pigmented and stunning these are. These are expensive for an individual eyeshadow but honestly, they're completely worth the splurge, especially on the run up to Christmas. I suspect these will continue to sell out. I have my eye on some of the newer shades, particularly Into The Blue which is essentially like painting everything mermaid all over your eyes.

Another recent item that has slowly but shortly started making waves is their stunning Heaven's Hue Highlighters* (£28) which currently come in 3 beautiful shades. If you're down for a more unique shade Transcendance* is the way to go. It is an interesting cool toned opalescent pink for a truly etherial glow.

These highlighters aren't your average pop of glow - these are putty like in texture for starters! They work best with a synthetic brush or sponge and can be easily worked with fingers. What's great about these is that they're luminous and very natural on the skin, despite the unique tone of Transcendence. I loves to apply this to the tops of my shoulders for an instant luminosity that really makes the skin glow. I'm intrigued to try the other shades from this range as I find the formula really interesting and beautiful to apply.

Also - putty make up? Yes please!

Another product that has caught my eye is their Stay All-Day Liquid Lipsticks* (£16), an often overlooked formula in the matte liquid lipstick world. This range comes in a whopping 26 shades and there are currently 2 shimmer finish. I  have Biscotti*, a warm taupe shade that really optimises the 90s brown, nude lip vibe. I find this works best for me when I'm more tan and have a simple eye look with a sharp wing. For my skin tone, it isn't an everyday colour but it would suit a deeper complexion perfectly. Formula wise, I cannot fault this product - the pigmentation is instant and does not drag or go patchy. This is enriched with Vitamin B and Avocado Oil for optimum comfort and I find this remains comfortable throughout my day. It does not smudge, bleed or transfer which is really important that a liquid lipstick stays in place.

I am so impressed with these recent additions to the Stila line and I cannot wait to see what's to come! I'm hoping for some mini Magnificent Metals sets in time for Christmas.

Have you tried Stila, if so what are your favourite products?

Love, K xo
