New In | Soap & Glory Makeup

Soap & Glory are mostly known for their body products but in recent times they have released a whole host of makeup products.  They’ve now added even more products to their line and I’ve got the lowdown for you right here!  Let’s start with the palettes – there’s two new eyeshadow offerings one neutral, one matte.  Kick Into Neutral* (£13) is a 12 shadow palette with a mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows which are somewhat cool-toned nudes. I’ve found some shades are more pigmented than others and in particular I like ‘Rich Tea‘, ‘Pink-a-Little‘ and ‘Cocoa Cabana‘ as they’re the most richly pigmented of the palette. The colours have minimal fall out and blend nicely, creating a soft eye look with ease. I’ve found they are more vivid when applied over a primer but I use an eye primer daily so it wasn’t an additional step in my routine. The Ultimatte Palette* (£13) includes a wide range of neutral matte shades.  I’ve been enjoying this palette the most as the shades work really well, especially in the crease and they are nicely buildable  plus they blend perfectly. The shades I reach for most are ‘Conker All‘, ‘Pebble Power‘, ‘Mauve Over‘ and ‘Liquorice‘. My favourite of the releases has to be the Made You Blush Velvety-Smooth Cheek Colours* (£9 each), which I’ve been using non-stop. The shades are super flattering and the blushes are perfectly pigmented to add just the right amount of colour to the cheeks. I particularly love ‘Rosy Chic‘ as its one of those pink/peach shades that works with all makeup looks.  Finally, the newest addition to the black ink eyeliner family – Supercat Skinny* (£6.50) – which I’m absolutely loving! The nib is perfectly sized and makes applying my daily winged liner a complete breeze. The colour is well pigmented and lasts well throughout the day. I’m really impressed with these newer Soap & Glory products – which are your favourite products?  Love, Kate xo
