Keeping it luxe with Kiko Cosmetics

I love Kiko Cosmetics – they’re on trend, well priced and keep releasing wonderful, well thought out collections. I’ve tried my fair share of products from the brand and I’ve always been impressed. I do find their entire range a little overwhelming at times (there’s a store in Leeds where many a swatch has been made) as there is so much to chose from. kiko-cosmetics-limited-edition I particularly love their limited edition collections, I find they’re always fun and keeping with current trends. So, it’s no surprise that when the stunning Summer Collection landed on my doorstep – I was pretty dosh darn excited. Firstly, that packaging tho *heart eyed emoji* – so luxe and high quality, it puts many a brand to shame. Packaging aside, it’s a lovely collection with some top notch products from everyone’s favourite Italian makeup brand. kiko-cosmetics-review I have a soft spot for Kiko lip products so it’s no surprise I like the Mirage Stylo Lipstick in 09 Wanderlove Magenta* (£13.90) which is a super pigmented blue toned magenta shade that is creamy and comfortable on the lips. It’s a demi-matte finish with a long wearing, slightly glossy sheen. I adore the packaging of this too, it just screams high end but for an affordable price. Another lip product I really love is the Heatwave Lip Oil in 02 Vanilla* (£10.90) which gives just a hint of colour but really nourishes the lips, giving them a super plump and healthy sheen. kiko-mascara kiko-eyeliner Eye wise, the collection includes the Endless Sky Volume Effect Mascara* (£12.90) which gives a great amount of length and volume to my sparse lashes. The tapered wand allows you to get into those harder to reach areas of the eye. I find the tip coats my bottom lashes well but the majority of the wand is a little too large. I’ve particularly enjoyed the In The Shade Eyeshadow & Kajal Duo in 04 Emerald / Petrol Green* (£9.90) which I have been using on my lower lash line for a deep, pop of colour. These are both beautifully pigmented and stay put once set. kiko-blush The most beautiful product in the collection has to be the Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush in Impulsive Mauve* (£16.90) which is a super pigmented, trip of blush shades that you can either use esperately or swished together. A little goes a long way with this blush as it’s easy to over do. I am so impressed, once again with the latest offerings from Kiko. You’ll be glad to know there is currently a sale on and this collection is now 30% off! What’s your favourite Kiko product? Love, Kate xo
